What We Measure

Five dimensions. One score. Clear next steps.

01

Data Maturity

Quality, accessibility, and structure of your data assets. AI fails on ungoverned data; we evaluate where yours stands.

What we ask

  • How would you rate the quality and accessibility of your core business data (ERP, CRM, finance)?
  • Do you have clear data ownership and governance in place?
  • How mature is your data infrastructure for supporting AI workloads (warehousing, pipelines, APIs)?
02

Team Skills & Culture

Technical capacity, AI literacy across functions, and organizational appetite for AI-driven change.

What we ask

  • How would you rate your team's technical capacity to build or manage AI systems?
  • How widespread is AI literacy across business functions, not just IT?
  • How would you describe your organization's appetite for AI-driven change?
03

Infrastructure

Cloud architecture, compute capacity, model hosting, and integration paths between AI systems and existing platforms.

What we ask

  • How mature is your cloud architecture and compute capacity for AI workloads?
  • How well are your existing systems integrated with modern APIs?
  • Do you have an established path for connecting AI systems to your existing platforms?
04

Use Case Clarity

Whether you have identified specific, measurable problems where AI produces business value, or whether you are still exploring.

What we ask

  • Have you identified specific, measurable business problems where AI could add value?
  • Do you have a way to estimate the return for candidate AI use cases?
  • How prioritized and sequenced is your roadmap of AI initiatives?
05

Governance & Risk

AI policies, ISO 42001 alignment, bias monitoring, regulatory awareness (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF), and human oversight processes.

What we ask

  • Do you have AI policies covering acceptable use, data handling, and oversight?
  • How aware is your organization of relevant AI regulation (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)?
  • Do you have human oversight processes for AI-driven decisions?

Why It Matters

The gap between AI ambition and AI capability is the single biggest risk in enterprise AI strategy today.

Seventy percent of companies plan to invest in AI workforce training. Only twenty-five percent of executives have operationalized AI governance. The organizations that close that gap first will define the next decade of competitive advantage. The ones that do not will spend the next three years debugging AI projects that never should have been started.

70%

of companies plan AI workforce training investment in the next 12 months.

25%

of executives have operationalized AI governance. The rest are exposed.

What You Get

A score. Context. A path forward.

Instant results

Your score appears on screen the moment you finish the five sections: a maturity level (Exploring, Developing, Operating, Scaling, Leading) for each dimension and narrative analysis of your strongest and weakest areas.

Real-world context

Two data points frame every result: 70% of companies plan AI workforce training investment in the next 12 months, and only 25% of executives have operationalized AI governance. Your five dimension scores show where your own organization sits today.

Your biggest opportunity

Results call out your single weakest dimension first, so you know where to focus. Each dimension score comes with a plain-language read on what it means and what closing the gap looks like.

Strategist consultation

Share your details after your results appear and a Lightbridge.ai strategist will follow up within one business day to offer a complimentary consultation, walk through your scores, and discuss whether deeper engagement makes sense.

Frequently asked questions

What is AI readiness?
AI readiness is the measurable capacity of an organization to design, deploy, and operate artificial intelligence systems that produce business value. It is evaluated across five dimensions: data maturity, team skills, infrastructure, use case clarity, and governance. An AI-ready organization can move from idea to production deployment with minimal friction and managed risk.
How long does the AI Readiness Assessment take?
The Lightbridge.ai AI Readiness Assessment takes approximately 15 minutes to complete online, in five short sections, one per dimension. Your scored results appear instantly on screen the moment you finish, with no waiting on an emailed report.
Is the AI Readiness Assessment free?
Yes. The assessment and your scored results are provided at no cost. We offer it because organizations consistently underestimate the gap between AI ambition and AI capability, and a clear baseline accelerates every subsequent decision.
Who should take the AI Readiness Assessment?
The assessment is designed for executives, technology leaders, and transformation teams responsible for AI strategy. CTOs, Chief Data Officers, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Innovation, and Chief AI Officers all benefit. We recommend that respondents have visibility across data, infrastructure, and organizational planning.
What happens after I complete the assessment?
Your results appear immediately: a maturity level and score for each of the five dimensions, an overall score, and a narrative breakdown of your strongest area and your biggest opportunity. If you want a copy in your inbox, share your contact details at the end. We will email your results and follow up within one business day to offer a complimentary consultation with a Lightbridge.ai strategist.
How is the assessment scored?
Each of the five dimensions is scored on a 1 to 5 maturity scale based on your responses. Scores are mapped to descriptive maturity levels: Exploring, Developing, Operating, Scaling, and Leading. Results include narrative analysis of your strongest dimensions and most significant gaps.
Can my whole team participate?
Yes. We recommend gathering perspectives from data, engineering, business operations, and risk or compliance leads before submitting. Many organizations complete the assessment as a workshop exercise, which surfaces internal alignment gaps as a useful side effect.
