AI Consultant
Lightbridge.ai is hiring an AI consultant on a contract basis, fully remote. Run maturity assessments, use-case prioritization, value modeling, and AI roadmap design directly with clients, using the same five-step framework Lightbridge.ai publishes openly. This is a contract engagement, not a full-time employment role.
What the role does
You are the practitioner in the room, not a name on a proposal handed to someone else to deliver. Work follows the five-step AI strategy framework Lightbridge.ai publishes openly: maturity baseline, use-case scoring, value modeling, roadmap sequencing, and governance design, applied to each client's real data and systems rather than a generic template.
What we look for
- Hands-on experience running AI or data initiatives inside a business, not only advising on them from the outside
- Comfort defending a recommendation to a CFO as well as a CTO
- Enterprise-systems fluency (ERP, CRM, finance operations) is a strong plus
- Vendor-neutral judgment: recommendations are not shaped by which platform pays the best margin
Engagement structure
Independent contractor, remote from anywhere in the United States, scoped per engagement rather than a fixed weekly schedule. There is no staffing bench: the consultant who scopes the work delivers it.
